SWiPE is a research consortium, formed by the University of Turku, The Research Institute of the Finnish Economy (ETLA) and The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. It is lead by professor Anne Kovalainen from the University of Turku.

University of Turku

University of Turku subproject is led by docent Seppo Poutanen. The SWiPE researchers of the University of Turku work at the Turku School of Economics. The researchers of the university bring multidisciplinary know-how to the project, especially in connection with entrepreneurship, science and research policy, working life and education.

The Research Institute of the Finnish Economy, ETLA

ETLA subproject is led by research manager Martti Kulvik. ETLA is a private, non-profit research organisation that aims to influence societal development and competitiveness through research. ETLA’s researchers bring certain research skills to the project, especially in connection with economic dynamics, platforms, entrepreneurship and changes in economy.

The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, TTL

TTL subproject is led by senior researcher Laura Seppänen. TTL is a multidisciplinary specialist organisation focused on work and wellbeing at work. TTL’s researchers bring to the project their research skills related to digitalization, work flow and especially to the changes of work in public sector organisations.
