The first SWiPE research consortium newsletter of 2019 has been published!
The newsletter deals with research results of platform economy and platform work, as well as several SWiPE activities happening in the spring and next summer.
The newsletter also presents thoughts of labour market leaders Jarkko Eloranta from The Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions, Sture Fjäder from The Trade Union Confederation of Affiliates for Highly Educated People, Antti Palola from the Finnish Trade Union Confederation of Professionals, and Jyri Häkämies from the Confederation of Finnish Industries, about platform economy, needs to competence development due to digitalisation and the potential of digital platforms to meet the demand and supply of work.
