Futura journal’s special edition Education and Future Working Life 2/2018, implemented in cooperation with the WORK2017 Conference, has been published. The special edition presents the future of work on the basis of studies, including those presented at the WORK2017 conference. The feature issue brings together work and research on future of work from various disciplines. The articles examine the impact of technological development on future work, rapidly growing and evolving transport sector and its future challenges, part-time work and family and work integration, and the conciliation of the work community as a form of resolving conflicts. The SWiPE project’s researchers, Seppo Poutanen and Kaisa Hytönen, are the visiting editors of the issue.
